This Privacy Policy explains how contractortakehome.uk (“the Site”, “we”, “us”) handles information.

1. What this site does

contractortakehome.uk provides a free UK Contractor IR35 take-home pay calculator. All calculations run entirely in your browser. We do not process or store the numbers you enter.

2. Information we collect

We aim to collect as little data as possible:

No personal calculator data – Day rates, expenses and other inputs stay on your device and are never sent to our servers.
Basic technical logs – Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may process standard server logs such as IP address, browser type and pages visited for security and performance.
Optional analytics – If we enable privacy-friendly analytics in future, they will be configured to minimise personal data.

3. Cookies

The calculator itself does not set tracking cookies. Any cookies used by the hosting platform or future advertising partners will be limited to what is necessary or based on consent where required.

4. Advertising

In the future we may display advertising (for example via Google AdSense). Advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show relevant ads. You can manage ad personalisation through your Google account settings or browser controls.

5. Third-party services

We use Cloudflare for hosting and security. Their privacy practices are available on the Cloudflare website. We do not sell your personal data.

6. Your rights

If you are in the UK or EU you have rights under UK GDPR / GDPR, including the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you (if any). Because the calculator does not store your inputs, most requests will only relate to server logs.
